Good parent-teen communication is one of the most important piece of a strong relationship. Still, parents often find talking with their teens so hard! It is important to remember that teens usually want to talk to their parents when they see there is an environment where they feel free to share their thoughts and feelings.

Studies show that teens talk more to their parents when parents are open to listen and share.  This doesn’t mean that parents need to agree with their children, but they should tell their kids that they’re willing to listen and will respect their opinion.
